(2) 3 nephews killed in WW2. 2nd Lieut. James Jackson d. 21.08.1940, Royal Dragoon Gds. cremated Ipswich. Pilot Officer Henry Hulton RAF d 21.03.1940 buried St. Brelade, Jersey. Sub. Lieut.Michael Rae Jackson R.N d 19.11.1940 commemorated on Portsmouth naval memorial.

A.S.B. ROBERTS I.A. WHO DIED/ AT RANGOON BURMA 21ST MARCH 1909, AGED 29/ AND WAS BURIED AT SEA IN THE GULF OF MARTABAN./ THEY WORSHIPPED TOGETHER IN THIS CHURCH/ AND SPENT A BRIGHT AND HAPPY YOUTH AT/ THE HOMEMEAD, HARD BY ITS GATES.
