About the memorial: Memorial Tablet to Eustace Gunther d. 31.05.1940 buried Heacham Churchyard. A noted zoologist who travelled to antartica & South America. A plain, wall mounted marble tablet with border, cut outs on the lower corners and raised portion at the top with a scroll above a whale. The central section of the tablet bears an inscription in black and red lettering.
