About the memorial: The memorial is wooden boards on the top and sides of the main church entrance. The boards are very high and it is impossible to see all the names unless you have a ladder. All of the men from the parish of Ponders End are inscribed on these boards. The names which are underlined in red are the men who lost their lives.
