About the memorial: Two light stained glass window on the south wall depicting St Ebba and St Oswald. At the bottom are depicted six regimental badges, including the RAF. The names of the men are cut into the sloping windowsill, using Roman capitals. Between the dates on the top is a small flag of St George set in the stone of the cill , made by removing the quarters and painting them white leaving the cross proud, which has been painted red.
