In Loving Memory of/ Mary Ann/ beloved wife of the/ Rev John Gamble, vicar of/ Loweswater who entered into rest/ March 25th 1908 aged 59. The Reverend John Gamble/ for 27 years vicar of the Parish and died Aug 24 1915/ aged 65/ Rest in Peace. Winifred daughter of the Rev John and Mary Ann Gamble/ died Jan 28th 1914 aged 30/ Sarah Jane Gamble Sister of the Rev John Gamble/ who entered into rest Feb 7th 1919 at St. John's Vicarage Lancaster and was interred here aged 24 years/ Col Serg Major B. Gamble/ died in France 1914/ Pte P. Gamble died in France 1917
