About the memorial: South part, south lower section, Penrith Old Cemetery. The inscription (under the Names tab) says he died in Bonn, Germany in September 1919. This suggests that he was part of the occupying forces established by the Treaty of Versailles. A bit tenuous to call it a war memorial but IWM Register includes it, so we will.
