About the memorial: A wooden board with a domed top and pillars on either side, with an inbuilt shelf at the bottom, which has brass railings around it. All lettering is in gold. The IWM Register entry says it is in storage at Heginbotham Mill, Old Street, but to make enquiries at the museum. War Memorials Trust has established that the museum now has some memorials on display that were formerly in storage.
