About the memorial: Heavily carved stone wheel cross on a stone plinth. Three sides of the plinth have lettering on their square sides. The monument is contained within a small plot enclosed with iron railings

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

(Face 1) IN LOVING MEMORY OF EDWARD REYNOLDS OF PAXTON HALL. DIED 3RD FEBRUARY, 1888 AGED 65 YEARS (Face 2) ALSO OF EDWARD HIS ELDEST SON. WHO DIED 5TH FEBRUARY 1895 AGED 30. BURIED IN SOUTHERN CROSS CEMETERY WEST AUSTRALIA. ALSO EDWARD, ONLY SON OF THE ABOVE WHO DIED 11TH SEPTEMBER 1917 OF WOUNDS RECEIVED IN FRANCE AGED 26. (Face 3) ALSO OF ERNEST EDWARD, HIS SECOND SON KILLED WHILST SERVING WITH GIFFORDS PATROL, IN ACTION AGAINST THE MATABELE ST SHILOH, BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA 6TH APRIL 1896, AGED 26. BUREID IN BULAWAYO CEMETERY.
