Location: Internal
Setting: Inside a building - public/private
Description: Board/Plaque/ Tablet
Materials:
  • Metal Bronze
Lettering: Incised
Conflicts:
  • First World War (1914-1918)
About the memorial: Bronze Plaque with elaborate Greek Key edging. The IWM Register entry is a little confused over location, giving what is in fact the the correct address as the previous address. In fact the present church is a merger of several previous Methodist churches which were either bombed or closed, and is currently located in what was until 1996 the church hall, which became the church when the adjacent church was demolished and sold for housing.
