About the memorial: Tapering granite obelisk on a pedestal and 3 stage base, surrounded by railings and with pinned lead lettering. The memorial is at the end of a rough track about 1.5 miles east of Patna. Just north of a triangular shaped piece of woodland. A new memorial in the village of Patna was unveiled in 2011 (WMO 152486) incorporating the Fallen from the three villages, these two now being abandoned.
