on the plaque - He died for freedom and honour on museum card- Batty Qtr Master Sergt W R Minton Shrops Royal Horse Arty British War Medal; Victory Medal/Meritorious Service Medal BQMS Minton, who came from Shrewsbury/was awarded the MSM on June 12 1918/for services in the field. By the time the award/was gazetted, Minton had died of wounds in/France (on March 29th)
