About the memorial: St George in medieval armour of c1450 holding in his right hand a cruciform sword, the hilt surrounded by a wreath. Left hand rests on a cross like shield. Plaque with a warship scene and another with aircraft scene on a square base, and a wreath a round a helmet on the two remaining sides. Originally at London HQ 252 High Holborn RE-DEDICATED IN PETERBOROUGH/11 NOVEMBER 1991
