About the memorial: 'Middlesex Chronicle' 18th December 1915: "Mr. Henry Harris, of the Mart, Twickenham-road, has presented a new heating apparatus to the church, including an additional slow combustion stove, as a memorial to his eldest son, Sergt. Henry Thomas James Harris, of the 8th Middlesex Regiment, who was among the drowned after the sinking of the hospital ship Anglia, on which he was coming home wounded from France. The improved arrangements were put into use on Sunday, and those in attendance at the services expressed great satisfaction at the increased comfort." The pin is at the former location of the Mission Church, which was demolished in the 1960s.
