About the memorial: Proposed by our Petitioner Henry Arthur Peake of Westholme, Sleaford to provide and place a rood loft with rood and figures over the existing rood screen in the parish church of Sleaford in memory of his three sons who lost their lives in the Great War and to place a small inscribed brass tablet inlaid in the floor on the west side and to the north of the entrance of the rood screen. Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
