About the memorial: Standing at the corner of the junction of the two roads, on a raised platform surmounted by steps and standing behind semi-circular iron railings with a central gate. A plain wheel cross upon a tapered plinth and small square stone base. The front face bears the inscription and names of the fallen in WW1. The left face bears the names of the fallen in WW2.
