About the memorial: Stone Cairn with two slate tablets- 1 for each conflict. The WW2 tablet was installed with the cairn in 2000, the WW1 plaque was added in 2014. Originally the WW2 tablet was on a wooden backboard, now the two tablets are on a combined granite backboard.
