About the memorial: Rectangular wooden board surmounted by a carved foliate design. There are two inscribed crosses at the top corners in gold and the inscription is written in gold capital lettering. A second smaller board has been added at the bottom for the WW2 names and this has on the left hand side a carved oak leaf. The carving on the right appears to have been lost. TR Bennett are now newspaper and magazine wholesalers but its titles are still published by others.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
