About the memorial: The Nurses home and health centre (now demolished) housed the associated dedicatory cabinet containing the book of remembrance. The illuminated and bound Book of Remembrance was placed within a wall-mounted metal made cabinet. Cabinet consists of cornice pediment at the top and inscription is carved on the upper part of cabinet. White lettering in upper cases. The lower plaque depicts the dedication. The cabinet was relocated to the Old Town Hall which is now a school. It would be useful if it could be confirmed tat the memorial is still there.
