About the memorial: A wooden framed and glazed Roll of Honour. It is decorated with two parallel images of incense burners, slightly abstracted from their real form, in a faded powder-blue and cream, with a faded gilt border. ‘All Saints, South Elmham’ is emblazoned above the names of the Parish’s war-dead, the words are decorated with thin rays of golden light which form an approximate oval. The lettering, which alternates between black and red ink, appears to be printed though may also have been hand calligraphed.
