About the memorial: I have tramped around the fields overlooking the church where this memorial is supposed to be. Without luck. Internet research revealed the two Links attached under the Links tab. Both the photograph in the Dutch website and the description in the Cycling newsletter (pages 13-14) are from the 1960s, so the present fate of the memorial (2014) remains unclear. The Cycling article says the memorial was in a field overlooking the church. The fields which overlook the church are next to Cliffe House, where Lt Weyer lived, but that house is now private apartments and the old family long gone. The memorial is not in those fields, However, there is now a stone memorial to Lt Weyer inside the church which was not previously recorded in the IWM or WMO. So maybe the outdoor memorial has gone - it did not look in good shape in the 1960s photograph. Perhaps it has been replaced by a new indoor memorial.
