Comments:
The memorial was presented to the Liberal Club by the Chairman Mr F. Goldsmith J.P. on Saturday 16 October 1920. The design was in black and gold and bears the names of those members who had died during WW1. It was to be placed in the Billiard room of the club. Kent County Council took ownership of the building on 16 May 1927 until 1981. Whether the memorial was removed before the purchase by KCC or after is unknown. The whereabouts of the memorial is unknown. The building has been owned and occupied by Carley & Co since 1981 and they do not have the memorial or know of it's whereabouts.
