About the memorial: A marble (?) tablet, with corniced top and block sill supported by two corbels showing dedication in black, uppercase, incised lettering. On top of the tablet is a carving of crossed, furled flags, with accoutrements of war protruding from behind, and at its top centre a banner (with wording) above a regimental badge (?) and boxed wreath. It is above the south door of the nave.
