About the memorial: The memorial is sited on a grassed triangular road junction refuge bordering Leamington Hastings Rd, Marton Rd, and Main St. Square base surmounted by a diminutive three-stepped square plinth, square sectioned tapering shaft and an unusual four armed cross. Leaded inscriptions on sides of plinth. A chain link fence mounted on four corner stones and decorative iron posts is attached to the base and surrounds the whole memorial.
