About the memorial: Wooden Lychgate with brick base and a tiled roof. Supporting cross arch has inscription and there are brass plaques on the front of the walls with dedication on one and names of the fallen on the other. On the inner faces of the roof are wooden plaques which list all those who served and returned. .
