About the memorial: The Lychgate provides cover to the main stepped access to the entrance to the Church yard from the road, and is built from stone with carved timber inset panels and a tiled pitched roof. The memorials to the fallen inside the lychgate comprise carved timber panels for the First World War and a painted metal panel with raised names for the Second World War.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

Over Portal - Lest we forget On dedication plaque inside - To the Glory of God and in loving memory of the the men from this parish who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War 1914 - 1918. This Lychgate was erected by the grateful inhabitants of Rolleston . Greater love hath no man than this. That he lay down his life for his friends.
