About the memorial: Standing within the churchyard of St Mary 's & St Nicholas, to the east of the church, overlooking the street.An engraved granite cross, standing upon a square plinth upon a two-tier base. The front, west face starts the WW1 memorial, continued on the north face and then the south face. The east face contains the WW2 memorial. The name panels are of black polished stone and would appear to be more recent replacements. The 20th century photographs confirm that the black panels are indeed a recent addition.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
