About the memorial: Dinas Powys war memorial is located in the village square on Station Road. The memorial is made of limestone ashlar in a rustic style and consists of a central column and splayed base. The inscriptions are detailed on bronze plaques and the memorial also features a bronze wreath. The memorial is sited on a paved area and bordered by low-level chain-link fence and pillars. The memorial is Grade II listed and also located within a Conservation Area.
