About the memorial: Built 1922. Designed by Stirling architect George R Davidson. Unveiling in October 1922 by Field Marshall Earl Haig. When seen in 2014 the memorial was surrounded with scaffolding so hopefully the necessary restoration is under way. Restoration complete 2015.
