About the memorial: Standing in the churchyard to the south west of the church entrance. A square, stone obelisk with pyramidal top, and each face surmounted by an apex, standing upon a 3-tiered plinth, upon a square base. The front (west) face bears the general commemoration for WW1 followed by the names of 14 men who died in WW1. These are listed by by unit seniority, the last being in the United States Army. The details for each man include service number, rank, surname, initials and unit. On the upper tier of the 3-tier base are similarly listed the names of 2 men who gave their lives in WW2. unveiled on 28 September 1919.
