About the memorial: Lamplugh war memorial cross stands on a pedestal upon which are engraved names and an inscription. It is constructed of grey granite stone. It is located in the churchyard of St Michael's. When the names of the fallen of World War II were added it as moved from its original site under the West window to face the Church.
