Square pedestal over a three stage stepped base, with lists of names of the fallen and reliefs of naval activity on each side. Matching posts and chains surround the memorial. Front inscription opens: IN HONOUR OF THE MEN OF THIS VILLAGE WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918. A later inscription was added to the base, reading REMEMBER ALSO THE MEN AND WOMEN OF HESTON WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR 1939-1945.
