About the memorial: This memorial consists of two brass plaques commemorating members of the City of London Police who were killed in the First World War (left plaque) and Second World War (right plaque). In the entrance Foyer of the C.H. Rolph Hall on the first floor. Formerly at the old Force Headquarters at 26 Old Jewry. The WW2 names are arranged firstly, by those who died serving in the Military, then those who died on police duty, then the last 2 names are those who died as civilians under other circumstances (John Charles Reynolds, the 2nd of those 2 names, was in the Merchant Navy). War Memorials Online records this as a single war memorial because the wording connects them whereas IWM's War Memorials Register treats them as two different war memorials under different criteria see Links.
