About the memorial: Large stone plaque set into the wall one of the entrances to the Stag Brewery in Mortlake, next to a memorial to two men killed in a works accident. The War Memorial was originally located at the Stag Place Brewery, Pimlico, Victoria, London. It was relocated c1959 when the Stag Place Brewery in Pimlico was closed. Watney Combe Reid sold the Mortlake site in 2015, and it is currently pending redevelopment.
