About the memorial: A square, graduated tiered stone monument. The top faces adorned with wreaths of laurels in relief.The general commemorations on a level above the named plaques commemorating 36 fallen of WW1, arranged in date order of the deaths, starting with the left, northern face, continuing on the front, west face, and ending on the southern, right face. First name and/or initials, surname, place of residence and date of death are given. Dates of death stretch from 1914 to 1922. The WW2 memorial is at the base of the front, western face, and lists the names of 14 listed in surname alphabetical order, giving first name or initials, surname, and place of residence. The whole monument is upon a pavement, backed by a curved fence.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
