About the memorial: 1) Two light stained glass window, above which are tracery features. The left light depicts a figure of Joshua with the text "as Captain of the Host of the Lord am I now come" and below the Angel bidding him to take off his shoes. The right light depicts a figure of St. Paul with the inscription on the scroll "fight the good fight of faith" and below he is giving Timothy the charge. Text is painted within a black lined border, set between two painted angels in prayer. 2) Below the window is an associated wall mounted, landscape orientated engraved brass plaque. First letter of principle words and initials of the fallen are infilled with red enamel paint, the remaining text is infilled with black enamel paint.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

THEIR NAMES ARE RECORDED BELOW. / IT STANDS IN THE PLACE OF ONE GIVEN IN 1852 BY OLD RUGBEIANS IN INDIA, THE COLOURS OF WHICH HAD PERISHED. / (25 names)
