About the memorial: Standing on the bank above and overlooking the A5 road, within the grounds of St Davids Church.A stone cross adorned with the cross of sacrifice, mounted upon a square plinth standing upon a two tier base. The whole standing upon a stone paved square. The front face overlooking the A5 commemorates 21 men who fell furing World War One. The commemoration is in English and the names are listed by regiment, and alphabetically within each group. Below the names is a wreath of laurels with the date 1914 1919. On the reverse (church side), again with the commemoration in English, are listed the names of 11 men who died during World War Two. These names are not in alphabetical order, but carry the individuals rank. Below this are two further names who died in the UK. The left and right faces bear statements and a passage from the Bible (1 Samuel, 25, 15-16) in Welsh.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
