About the memorial: Inside the church, on the right hand (south) wall of the nave.A carved wooden panel, with apex surmounted by a carved cross, the inside with the carved initials JHS. Beneath this, on the central panel is the general commemoration to those who gave their lives in WW1, listing in alphabetical order the full names of 29 men, but without rank, unit or date. On either side are two hinged doors, listing 118 names of men who served in WW1, listed by unit and alphabetical order within the units. Their ranks are given, but only initials. It appears that some men listed on the central panel as died are not listed amongst those who served, although others appear to be. On the right hand half of the right hand door are listed the full names of 10 men who gave their lives during WW2, again without rank, unit or date.
