About the memorial: Situated in the grounds of the Holme Valley Memorial Hospital on Huddersfield Road in Holmfirth, approximately 7 miles from Huddersfield. There is a tall column in the centre where a Memorial stone and eight plaques give the names of those who lost their lives in both World Wars.
