About the memorial: Within the church, immediately to the right through the tower on the tower wall.A stone tablet (5 feet x 3 feet) in remembrance of the those of the parish who gave their lives during WW2, listing 32 names on men and 3 of women (all with first name and surname). the tablet resting on a stone shelf, below which is added an additional tablet for the two bells which were added to the peal as a further memorial. The tablet and bells were dedicated on 3rd May 1947 by Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich and reported in the Bury Free Press of 9th May. (These names are also on the Mildenhall war memorial.) IWM Register has a separate entry for the bells.57275.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
