About the memorial: Within the church, in the front left hand corner of the nave. A carved wooden altar, flanked by wooden panels, the right hand one carved with the general commemoration, surmounted by carved decoration. Upon the altar, surmounted by a wooden cross, and within a glazed, wooden cabinet, is a book of remembrance to those of the 385th Heavy Bombardment Group who gave their lives during 1942-45. To the left of the altar is a later, more recent stained glass window to the same unit. The IWM Register has made a separate entries for the panels
