About the memorial: Within the church at the rear of the nave on the church tower wall.A framed and glazed illuminated scroll Roll of Honour, headed Roll of Service, depicting emblems of the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, and various badges of the Army at the bottom. The hand written roll is in three columns, the centre and left columns listing 52 men of Badwell Ash, in no apparent order except those of the officers appear first, by surname, first name, rank and unit, followed any SNCOs and then other ranks. The left hand column is broken by the date 1916, but no other dates appear. The right hand column lists the names of 20 men of Hunston, similarly listed as for Badwell Ash. There is no indication as to which of those listed died.
