About the memorial: Wooden Frame to marble tablet containing names and inscription. This memorial was originally sited in the TOCH H (Talbot House) building on Main Street, Cockermouth. This is building is known as 'Regent House' to the east of the Black Bull Public House. The TOC H part was entered through the door between the two shops and was upstairs together with Regent Hairdressers. The memorial was on a wall at the bottom of the staircase for the upstairs. The memorial was transferred to the museum when the Regent House building was refurbished following the 2009 flood in Cockermouth.
