Stained glass window of four lights and ten smaller windows above. On the first and fourth window are the figures of two airmen, one in aircrew clothes and flying boots, the other a member of groundcrew, with the squadron badges and the depiction of a Lancaster bomber below. On the centre two windows are depicted St Michael and St George and the dragon with the squadron badges and depictions of Lancaster bombers flying over Ely Cathedral and the sea. The lower halves of the windows show, along with the RAF Group crests, the lion of St Mark, patron saint of the New Zealand Air Force. Below them is depicted a Wellington bomber; first in preparation for take-off; then passing over the cathedral; flying over the waves of the North Sea, and lastly, caught in the searchlights and attacked by flak. In the tracery at the top, along with the RAF and RNZAF badges, are the emblems of the Allied forces who fought with the Command for the liberation of Europe. The dedication is across the lower edge of the centre two lights. Rolls of Honour of No2. 2, 3, 8 and 100 Groups dedicated during the service, housed in a cabinet of light oak and glass below the window.
