About the memorial: Situated in Spen Lane on the outskirts of the village approximately 1 ¼ miles from the centre of Cleckheaton and 5 miles from the city of Leeds. Description – a large wooden organ screen detailing those who gave their lives in defence of their country in two World Wars The period commemorated is 1914 – 1918 and 1939 - 1945 The inscription reads:- Remember with gratitude the Men of Gomersal who laid down their lives in defence of this realm

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
