About the memorial: Stone column with cross set on stone stepped base. Dedication is carved in stone on the front plinth of the cross. Names are listed on 2 metal plaques (security protected) on either side of the column base which appear to be later additions (possibly covering eroded stone panels). The head of the cross is carved with a very simple pattern with an almost Celtic style. The dates 1914 & 1919 are carved on the cross shaft. The cross is set within a small gated garden at the corner of 2 roads.
