About the memorial: In the annex at the castle end of the cemetery. The tomb is that of his brother, killed in a climbing accident at Glencoe in 1930. On the same memorial is a dedication to Lt Mowbray below his brothers. Resting beside the gravestone is the battlefield cross erected by his fellow officers at The Huts Cemetery in Dickebusch, Ypres in 1917 and later brought to Stirling.
