About the memorial: On National Trust Property: An oak tree planted in memory of Alan George Ashley, a member of Auxiliary Units (Dorsetshire Regiment) and 1st SAS Regiment ('A' Troop - 'B' Squadron) who was executed behind enemy lines in July 1944. The tree was planted in 1995/96 in the parkland of what was once Coleshill House, the top secret training headquarters for the British Resistance.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
