About the memorial: The IWM Register link which gives the same address and description as this entry has been added. However, the inscriptions and names on the WMO and IWM versions are completely different and it wouid be helpful if some local person could resolve the matter. The Parish Church is situated in the centre of Holmfirth in close proximity to the Bus Station and General Post Office. The period commemorated is 1914 – 1919 Description -This wall mounted memorial is positioned on the right hand wall inside the main church and is accompanied with the respective flags of the Royal British Legion and the flag of the Royal Air Forces

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
