About the memorial: Stone tablet located on the wall of platform 1 at the station. Dedicated to the memory of the staff of the Midland Railway St Mary's Goods Depot. The memorial was originally on the outside of the north-facing wall of the former weighbridge office. The Goods Depôt, also known as St Mary's Wharf or St Mary's Goods Yard, was developed by the Midland Railway on land north of Fox Street, but accessed from Mansfield Road.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
