About the memorial: Jackson Bridge Working Men’s Club is situated in the centre of the village in Chapel Bank where the names of men and women who served their country in the Second World War are remembered. Description – a large wooden plaque inside the club snooker room detailing individual names and photographs of all those who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice losing their lives whilst serving their Country. The period commemorated is 1939 - 1945
